Aliens: Colonial Marines - 17 new screenshots

Aliens: Colonial Marines was announced last month at GDC and we've only been given a small amount of information up until this point. Unfortunately though, we haven't really seen what the game is going to look like. Well today German gaming site Gaming Universe has released 17 new screenshots for the game.

Well, the game seems to be turning out pretty well so far. Keep in mind that the game isn't scheduled to release until the end of this year, so these are just early screenshots. They're bound to improve, but so far I'm not complaining.

yeah i am not sure where the storyline fits in with the alien movies, but even if they just follow the aliens storyline thats ok. if anyone remembers the alien trilogy game on ps1 in the 1990's the intro clip at the beginning, i reckon thats where this game kicks off from. i am just guessing but it may fall between when riply returns to earth in aliens and when SHE IS TOLD that they have lost contact with the colonists; i reckon when we saw newts father with the facehugger, this was just before riply was found in space and there has already been a secret marine investigation. thats my vote!

I hope the multiplayer includes marine vs. alien team deathmatch, and not just limited to co-op.

It would be nice if the Aliens had more slime on them, to make them look more nasty, not look like wax suits.

Alien is a wild story but I like it. I am a Alien fan and I hope this Alien game will be good. The movies have been good and there are different storys to tell with this character. Alien is my favorite Villen that I like to watch in the movies. The game looks good so far but I'll have to wait and see when it comes out and see what it brings to the table!!!!

um i agree lv 426 was blown up in the movie so y has it been plotted there????

Aliens is one of the best sci-fi settings out there and if done right this could be an amazing game, I say it will be ether a hug hit, or a hug disappointment…. I’m hopping for the first.

sort of looks like a doom3 type of game scare factor as a marine + co-op doom3 type but in a GOOD way :D

it looks good but if the story line is only based on the Aliens then the plot will be lost and the threal wont be there. I hope that the world will allow you to explore all parts of the complex on LV 426. that is the game ive been waiting for. Not a rehash of the movie, I hope they dont let fans like me down.

Ya I'm a huge alien fan and I always wanted a good alien game so I'm real happy with the way this ones shaping up.

I’m with you on this, just keep in mind with the hi expectation it be easy for the game to fall sort…. Still I got my hopes and it is looking good.

Looks so good cant wait. The graphics look top notch and that will make it more real and scary, as long as they dont screw up the AI.

The game looks pretty good so far. Let's hope it stays that way.
