Alone in the Dark gets release date

Atari has finally given Alone in the Dark an official release date for the U.S. and Europe versions of the game. It's coming June 20 for Europe and June 24 for the U.S.

Unfortunately, this only includes the Xbox 360, PC, PS2 and Wii versions of the game. PS3 owners will have to wait until later this year to get their hands on a copy.

The game was originally scheduled for a May release date, but it was pushed back due to the developer (Eden Games) wanting to polish the game a little more before releasing it.

"We want to deliver the best possible experience to gamer, because we have a remarkable product. We’ve been getting an incredible response from the people that have seen it in demos. We’ll soon be supplying code to the market." (Eden Games)
