BioShock PS3's graphics will be identical to Xbox 360 version

BioShockMost fans know by this point that BioShock will be heading to the PS3 this November with exlusive downloadable content not seen on the Xbox 360. As of now, that was the only known difference between the two versions. Right from the start many gamers speculated that BioShock for the PS3 would also be featuring improved visuals, much like Oblivion's, due to the fact that the original game came out almost a year ago. Unfortunately, that's not the case.

BioShock PS3's senior producer, Melissa Miller, had this to say:

"We're looking to match the quality of the original version. We want to make sure that the water is just as great, and I think you can see from the demonstration, that it looks no different from the 360 version,"

Considering the fact that BioShock is still one of the best looking games to date, that's not exactly a bad thing. As long as the visuals and performance remain just as good as before, I'm not complaining.
