Infinity Ward confirmed for Call of Duty 6

Heads up Call of Duty fans, Infinity Ward has officially signed on to develop the sixth installment in the franchise, set to release in 2009. After the major success of Call of Duty 4, it was a bit strange that Activision decided to return to Treyarch to develop the next installment, especially after Call of Duty 3's lukewarm reception. Well, no matter how Call of Duty: World at War turns out, Call of Duty 6 is definitely in good hands. No further news on where and when the game will be set, but expect more to be revealed after the release of Call of Duty: World at War later this year.
