Next Guitar Hero game will feature vocals and other instruments

Guitar HeroThe Guitar Hero franchise has seen major success over the years, although gamers have all agreed it needs something new. Well, it has been confirmed that something new will indeed be coming. So, what could that 'something' be? Vocals and other instruments, apparently.

Activision's CEO Bobby Kotick had this to say:
"We'll include a lot of other instruments, vocals. It will help us expand internationally. It's the first game we've had in which we can use local content and local bands."

So basically, it's going to be Rock Band? Due to the success (and money) that Rock Band has made, I guess it makes sense. You'd think they'd go with something a little more original though. I just don't get how they're expecting to sell a whole set of instruments after people have already bought them for Rock Band. Oh well, we'll just have to wait until more has been revealed to start judging it.
